The Graphic Design teacher at UHS and their SkillsUSA advisor, Cristina Flores, said “the students worked long hours before, during and after school to get all their designs, notebooks, and props ready for competition. I am very proud of all their accomplishments. They advanced after placing first at District. Once the students advance to State, they not only represent UISD but the City of Laredo. They all brought home accolades they can be proud of by demonstrating their unique creativity in design, which will be an asset in their future.”
