Record-Breaking Number of Graduates Prompts Three Laredo College Graduation Ceremonies

(Laredo, Texas)- Laredo College once again celebrates a milestone moment as students close one chapter of their story and begin another. On Friday, May 8, the college will host three commencement ceremonies at the Sames Auto Arena, celebrating over 1,850 graduates as part of the largest graduating class to date. Graduates will be joined by their loved ones as they take a bold step toward their future.

Commencement exercises will be held across three ceremonies, with the morning and afternoon sessions designated exclusively for dual enrollment graduates. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic delays.

The morning ceremony, is for dual-enrollment students from Lyndon B. Johnson High School, Nixon High School and United High School only and begins at 9 a.m., with doors opening at 8 a.m.

The afternoon ceremony is for dual-enrollment students from Alexander High School, Bruni High School, Cigarroa High School, Harmony School of Excellence, Martin High School and United South High School only and begins at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 1 p.m.

The evening ceremony will be exclusively for the Laredo College graduating class and will begin at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening to the public at 5:30 p.m.

No ticket is required for guest entry. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and doors to the Sames Auto Arena will be closed upon reaching capacity.
