Laredo College’s Environmental Center and Wildlife Await New Visitors

(Laredo, Texas)-Laredo College’s Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Center (LBVEC) is reopening its doors to the community, welcoming new visitors and unveiling new additions to its roster of regional wildlife that are sure to delight guests of all ages.

The grand reopening ushers in a new era for the LBVEC with a new wildlife care center, a walk-in aviary and a deer processing station. Throughout its renovation period, the center also welcomed new ambassador animals and developed new ways to help the community better understand native flora and fauna.

The event takes place on Monday, May 4 at 9:30 a.m. at the Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Center located at Ft. McIntosh Campus West End Washington Street.
