LAREDO, Texas – Step back in time and uncover a piece of Laredo’s history! The City of Laredo and the Laredo International Airport, in collaboration with the Laredo Sports Hall of Fame, invites the community and media to witness the opening of a time capsule placed in the early 2000s.
Come see what memories, memorabilia, and surprises have been preserved for over two decades.
This special event celebrates Laredo’s history and community spirit by revisiting a unique moment in time. Don’t miss the chance to discover what items were selected years ago to represent the era and how they reflect the city’s growth and legacy today.
The event takes place today Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Laredo International Airport, Front of the Terminal, 5210 Bob Bullock Loop.
