Laredo, TX – The Laredo Fire Department is aware of an incident involving two off-duty members of the department that occurred during the early morning hours of March 11, 2026.
The department takes matters involving the conduct of its personnel seriously. Both employees have been placed on administrative assignment pending an internal review, which is consistent with department procedures.
The Laredo Fire Department will cooperate with the Laredo Police Department as their process moves forward. At the same time, the department has initiated its own administrative review in accordance with departmental policies.
Because this is an active investigation and personnel matter, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time. The Laredo Fire Department remains committed to accountability and maintaining the trust of the community we serve.
