Temporary Shoulder Closure on S. Ejido Avenue

LAREDO, TX – The City of Laredo Traffic Safety Division is notifying the community of a scheduled temporary shoulder closure along a section of S. Ejido Avenue, beginning Wednesday, December 10, and continuing for approximately two weeks.
The closure will occur Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to allow work crews to safely install new mainline fiber utility infrastructure along the corridor.
Traffic will be allowed; however, drivers may experience minor delays and are advised to proceed with caution through the construction zone. Drivers are encouraged to reduce speed, follow all posted signage, and be alert for crews operating in the area.
A temporary Traffic Control Plan has been established to ensure safety throughout the duration of the work. A map of the affected area is provided below and also attached to this email for reference.
