LAREDO, TX – The City of Laredo continues to advocate for public safety, environmental protection, emergency access, neighborhoods, and the economic vitality of Port Laredo, as federal border infrastructure planning advances.

As the City continues to support the effort, it is also asking the community to participate in the survey, which is now open. Residents are strongly encouraged to participate and make their voices heard by completing the survey available at the following link: https://blocksurvey.io/laredo-texas-Uf2up0OWRaeEoPuqn14nUw?v=o.
This provides residents with a direct opportunity to share concerns, priorities, and questions related to border infrastructure planning. Community input is essential to ensure that local knowledge, lived experiences, and neighborhood impacts inform federal coordination, policy direction, and technical discussions.

The City does not design or construct federal border infrastructure, but remains actively engaged to ensure that decisions affecting Laredo are informed by community voices and local conditions, rather than assumptions.

Residents are strongly encouraged to complete the survey and help shape responsible, informed advocacy on behalf of Laredo.
