Laredo International Airport Reports Minimal Disruption Following FAA Flight Capacity Adjustments

LAREDO, TX – The Laredo International Airport (LRD) is aware of the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announcement to adjust flight capacity in 40 U.S. markets beginning November 7, 2025.

LRD remains in close coordination with airline and federal partners to ensure continued safety and reliability for travelers. As of today, airport operations remain stable with minimal disruption to commercial service.

“Our teams are in constant communication with our airline partners and federal agencies,” said Gilberto Sánchez, Airport Director. “Our focus remains on delivering a safe, efficient, and dependable travel experience for every passenger.”

Laredo International continues normal operations and remains a key regional hub connecting South Texas travelers and global trade routes.
