Laredo, Texas — The City of Laredo and District 6 Council Member Dr. Tyler King will host a press conference to officially announce the 3rd Annual Día de los Muertos: 5K Glow Run & Catrina Contest. The announcement will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM at North Central Park, and it will include details about this year’s celebration, including event activities, how to participate in the contests, and registration opportunities.
The Día de los Muertos event has become a cherished tradition in the Laredo community, offering a vibrant mix of cultural heritage, family remembrance, and festive fun. This year’s celebration will once again include a 5K Glow Run, a Catrina costume contest, and more family-friendly activities.
