City of Laredo Founder’s Day Closure Notice

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo announces the closure of all administrative offices in observance of Founder’s Day on Monday, October 13, 2025. All services will resume to regular schedule on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Certain operations and services will continue to be offered, as indicated below:
Solid Waste Services
Regular trash pick-up
No lawn-clipping & branch collection
Landfill open regular hours 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
El Metro Transit
Fixed Route – Regular Schedule
El Lift/Paratransit Service – Regular Schedule
Administrative Office & Customer Service – Closed
Administrative office and Customer Service will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
