(McAllen, Texas)-As the City of McAllen moves forward with roadway improvements projects. Geotechnical bores for El Rancho Road will cause mobilized lane closure between 2nd Street to Jackson Road.

The roadway will cause mobilized traffic lane closures to all through traffic along El Rancho Road between 2nd Street to Jackson Road. Lane closures will begin on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, and expected to be completed by Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Residents and businesses will have access to their driveways at all times.

Motorists are urged to find alternate routes during the lane closure and exercise extreme caution and patience when traveling along in the area. Motorists should expect some delays and congestion.
