Laredo, Texas – Laredo Animal Care Services (LACS) recently received dogs that were voluntarily surrendered from an animal welfare agency located outside of our city limits. 12 dogs were voluntarily surrendered on Tuesday, 13 surrendered on Wednesday, and 4 were surrendered today, bringing the total to 29 dogs now in our protection.

Although this matter originated outside our jurisdiction, these animals are now safely within city limits and in our care, giving us the ability to supply the attention, refuge, and compassion they deserve.
Our primary focus remains solely on the welfare of the animals entrusted to us. Our team is committed to providing them with proper shelter, care, nourishment, and the medical attention they need.

We will continue working to assist their health, safety, and well-being while seeking positive outcomes for each one. We thank our community and all community animal advocates for their continued support in helping us give these dogs a second chance.
