Kicks Off the Celebration with Cinco de Mayo Pop-Up Market
LAREDO, TX – The City of Laredo Economic Development Department, in collaboration with the Laredo Chamber of Commerce, will host a proclamation presented by Mayor Dr. Victor D. Treviño on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM. This ceremony will be part of the Cinco de Mayo Pop-Up Vendor Market, which will officially kick off National Small Business Week (NSBW) at the Vietnam Veterans Plaza (1120 E. Calton Road, adjacent to the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library) from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The event will feature live music, raffles, food trucks, and a variety of local vendors.
National Small Business Week, observed this year from May 4 to May 10, recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. For more than 60 years, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has led this celebration nationwide.
The City of Laredo will announce additional events throughout the week to continue celebrating local small businesses’ spirit, resilience, and importance.
