Salvation Army to Provide Meals for Residents Affected by Storm, Flooding

(McAllen, Texas)-Following the recent severe weather and flooding, the City of McAllen is working alongside The Salvation Army to ensure affected residents receive hot meals during this challenging time. Meal distribution will take place at the Palmview Community Center, located at 3401 Jordan Rd., tomorrow, Tues., April 1, starting at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until 4:00 p.m., or while supplies last.
“During times of crisis, McAllen comes together,” said McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos. “We are deeply grateful to The Salvation Army for stepping up to help our community by providing warm meals to those affected by the storm. Their dedication to service is a testament to the strength of our city and the compassion of our partners.”
The City of McAllen will assist in coordinating local efforts to ensure meals reach those in need.
