City of Laredo Easter Holiday Closure Notice

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo announces the closure of all administrative offices in observance of Easter, on Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2025. All services will resume to regular schedule on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Certain operations and services will continue to be offered, as indicated below:
Solid Waste Services
Trash pickup WILL take place on Monday, April 21.
Recycling will be collected CITYWIDE on Thursday, April 17, amid holiday closure on Friday, April 18, 2025. NO lawn-clipping & branch collection on either day.
The City Landfill will be OPEN regular hours 8:00 AM -5:00 PM (weather permitting) on Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2025. On Saturday, April 19 will be CLOSED.
El Metro Transit
Fixed Route – Regular Schedule
El Lift/Paratransit Service – Regular Schedule
Administrative Office & Customer Service – CLOSED
Administrative office and customer service will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Center will be OPEN regular hours from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
