Laredo, Texas – A delegation from the City of Laredo will travel to Washington, D.C., from March 9 through March 13, 2025, to engage with key federal agencies, congressional representatives, and partner organizations. This trip is a crucial opportunity to advocate for Laredo’s needs at the federal level and secure funding, partnerships, and policy support for major city projects.
City leaders will discuss priority issues, including infrastructure, economic development, border security, public health, and cultural initiatives. Meetings will focus on identifying opportunities to enhance resources for Laredo’s continued growth and sustainability.
During the trip, the delegation will meet with several federal agencies and organizations.
