Laredo, Texas –The City of Laredo Tax Department issues an important reminder to all property owners of the upcoming payment deadline as follows:
Friday, January 31, 2025, is the last day to pay 2024 taxes to avoid penalties and interest.
1st Installment Payment Due
This option is available to taxpayers who qualify for Over-65, Disabled Persons, and Disabled Veterans with a Residential Homestead. Taxpayers may pay their 2024 taxes in four equal installments without penalties and interest if the
1st installment is paid by January 31, 2025.
Taxes not paid by January 31, 2025, will be charged penalty and interest on February 1, 2025.
Installment Payment Plan Information
· 1st Installment-Payment is due by January 31, 2025
· 2nd Installment-Payment is due by March 31, 2025
· 3rd Installment-Payment is due by May 31, 2025
· 4th Installment-Payment is due by July 31, 2025
