City of McAllen to Host Unified Development Code Dist. 3 Townhall Meeting

Draft plan available for comments, goal is to streamline development process
(McAllen, Texas)-The City of McAllen will be hosting six townhall meetings inviting the public to comment on the draft Unified Development Code (UDC). The meetings will allow the City of McAllen to gather input from the community as they discuss the proposed changes.
Comments and suggestions can also be submitted via email to planning@mcallen.net. The draft code is available both at the McAllen Planning & Zoning Department office, located at the McAllen Development Center, 311 N. 15th St. and on the City of McAllen’s website, at www.mcallent.net. The comment period will run through November 20, 2024.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Las Palmas Community Center, 1921 N. 21st St.
