City of Laredo Thanksgiving Holiday Closure Notice

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo announces the closure of all administrative offices in observance of Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2024. All services will resume to normal operations hours on Monday, December 2, 2024. Certain operations and services will continue to be offered as indicated below:
There will be NO garbage or recycling collection on Thursday, November 28 or Friday, November 29, 2024.
Recycling drop-off AVAILABLE on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
There will be NO lawn clipping and branch collection on either day.
Landfill
CLOSED on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2024.
OPEN Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
El Metro Transit
Fixed Route – NO fixed route on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Will RESUME regular service on Friday, November 29, 2024.
El Lift – CLOSED on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Will RESUME regular service on Friday, November 29, 2024.
Administrative Office & Customer Service – CLOSED Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2024.
The administrative office and customer service will resume REGULAR business hours on Monday, December 2, 2024.
