Unified Development Code Public Meeting Rescheduled

Draft plan still available for comments, open to developers and community at large
(McAllen, Texas)-The City of McAllen Unified Development Code townhall meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 8 at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, located at 1200 Ash Ave., has been rescheduled to this Thursday, October 10, 2024, starting at 3:00 p.m. at the same location. The meeting will allow the City of McAllen to gather input as the community to discuss the proposed changes to better streamline development process.
Comments and suggestions can also be submitted via email to planning@mcallen.net. The draft code is available both at the McAllen Planning & Zoning Department office, located at the McAllen Development Center, 311 N. 15th St. and on the City of McAllen’s website, at www.mcallent.net. The comment period will run through Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
