Santana Fills the Moody Center Amphitheater with Soul and Energy

It’s 2024 yet Carlos Santana is still delivering high energy soulful performances as was the case this past Sunday, August 18th in Austin, Texas where he delivered yet another incredible electrifying performance that had the audience cheering and moving with his music. Santana started the night fast with Soul Sacrifice that featured images of Woodstock in the background. Jin-Go-Lo-Ba followed the fast-paced concert start setting up what would be setlist that would move consistently as Santana pumped out one classic hit after another.
Carlos Santana’s guitar playing as always was on point accompanied by two on stage drummers as well as two congas and timbales that mixed perfectly with the bass guitar and keyboard sounds.
The evening’s setlist included Santana’s classic hits Soul Sacrifice, Jin-Go-Lo-Ba, Evil Ways, Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, including a cover of the Zombie’s She’s not there that gave that song its own personal Carlos Santana touch as the band finishes off the night with Smooth.
