LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo announces the closure of all administrative offices in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 2, 2024. All services will resume to normal operation hours on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Various operations and services will continue to be offered, as indicated below:
Garbage & Recycling Collection
Monday, September 2, 2024, regular pick-up schedule.
NO lawn clipping or branch collection on Monday, September 2, 2024.
Landfill
OPEN on Monday, September 2, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
El Metro Transit
Fixed Route – Regular schedule on Monday, September 2, 2024.
El Lift – Regular schedule on Monday, September 2, 2024.
Administrative Office & Customer Service – Closed
The administrative office and customer service will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
