3G Entertainment along with the Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Texas brought to those in attendance one of the most memorable concerts to date featuring Ringo Starr and His All-Star Band this past Saturday, June 8th.   Ringo and his bandmates wasted no time getting things started with Matchbox bring back memories of times in which the Beatles performed the song with Ringo on vocals back in the early 60’s.  The band then went into Ringo’s 70’s hit It Don’t Come Easy which was released in 1971 it was produced and co-written by former Beatle band member George Harrison who also had a hand in writing Photograph for RIngo Starr in 1973.

The spotlight then turned to his current bandmates Steve Lukather, Stuart Hamish, and Colin Hay who respectively performed hits from their former Bands Toto (Rosanna), Average White Band (Pick up the Pieces), and Men at Work (Down Under).

RIngo Starr and His All-Star Band then continued to plow thru 14 more hits from their past which included Photograph and Back up Bugaloo with the crowd joining them in session with each song performed.  The crowd stood throughout the concert cheering louder as Ringo and the band went into Beatles classics in which he was the lead vocals Yellow Submarine and Octopus’s Garden.

The Payne Arena was soldout to capacity and it’s staff was on point as it managed to maintain crowd control professionally as the evening brought back memories and excitement of the Fab Four’s initial concert presentations in the United States in 1964 with fans waiting before and after the show to greet them and with the hopes of an autograph or a photo.

Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band will perform tonight at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas the tour will then take them through eight more tour stops within the United States.
