Laredo College South Offering Health Sciences Summer Camp

(Laredo, Texas)-As the end of the school year nears, keeping children physically active and intellectually engaged is a top priority for parents. Laredo College will meet both of these objectives through its first-ever health sciences summer camp, which will take place June 10 to June 14.
The camp is an amazing opportunity for children ages 11 to 14 to learn about the six different healthcare fields Laredo College offers: Medical Assisting, Emergency Medical Services, Physical Therapist Assistant, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiology and Nursing.
The weeklong camp will be held at the LC South College of Health Sciences Building, 5500 Zapata Highway. Space is limited and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is $25 per child, and the deadline to register and pay is Friday, May 31 by 11 a.m.
Payments can be made at the Bursar’s Office at the Ft. McIntosh or South Campus.This specialized camp will be run by Laredo College faculty, all of whom are licensed or certified health professionals, and LC students with hands-on externship clinical experience.
