McAllen Vision Zero Survey Nearing End Date

Community input sought to help develop traffic safety plan
The City of McAllen is still seeking community input to help develop its Vision Zero Action Plan. The Vision Zero Action Plan is a traffic safety plan that will be created through data unique to the community in order to create safer transportation systems with a goal of reducing injuries and fatalities on McAllen roadways to zero.
This innovative plan, rooted in the belief that no loss of life or serious injuries is acceptable on McAllen’s transportation system, represents a pivotal step forward in McAllen’s commitment to public safety and the well-being of its residents.
The survey is available at https://www.mcallen.net/departments/traffic/vision-zero. The survey is open to anyone who lives, works, or visits McAllen. The survey will be open until April 14, 2024.
