City of Laredo Appoints New City Secretary

LAREDO, TX— The City of Laredo Manager, Joseph Neeb, appointed Mario Maldonado as the new City Secretary. Mr. Maldonado will start his new role soon, after going through the onboarding process. The position of City Secretary has been held by Mr. Jose A. Valdez. Jr. for six years.
Mr. Valdez will now transition to his position as Assistant City Manager, after performing dual positions. “Mr. Maldonado’s leadership skills will be valuable for this position. He brings an extensive amount of experience in Public Administration and knowledge that will be a great asset for the City of Laredo”, said City Manager Joseph Neeb.
