McAllen P&CA, Palm Awards to Announce Nominations for Annual Award Ceremony

(McAllen, Texas)-The Palm Awards is pleased to announce the upcoming Nomination Breakfast to recognize the outstanding contributions of high school theater directors and celebrate the achievements of young talents in the theater arts.
The nominations, including but not limited to, categories such as Best Production, Best Actor/Actress, and Best Technical Crew, will be announced during the event.
The nominated students will be competing for over $25,000 in scholarships, highlighting The Palm Award’s commitment to supporting and encouraging the next generation of thespians and technical artists.
During the ceremony, announcements will include, the Palms Branches that each school participated in as well as identifying the esteemed panel of national judges from 11 universities from across the nation assisting with the adjudication this season.
In addition to the nominations, the recipient of the Michael Alebis Legacy Award will be announced. This award will honor an individual who has dedicated their life to the growth and development of the arts in the Rio Grande Valley, reflecting the spirit of Michael Alebis and his enduring impact on the local arts community.
