Laredo Municipal Court Announces Amnesty Program

LAREDO, Tx. –City of Laredo Municipal Court Judge Jesus “Chuy” Dominguez announces the amnesty program starting Monday, February 26, 2024, allowing citizens to clear their outstanding traffic violations.
Judge Dominguez is offering the amnesty program from February 26 through March 22, 2024, with sessions for in-person appearance only, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and Thursday through Friday at 11:00 a.m. The program includes all cases pending, capias warrants, arrest warrants, capias pro-fines, DPS Omni holds and cases submitted to Linebarger collections.
Municipal Court clerks are available to help the public with any information they may need. The community can visit the court’s website at https://www.laredomunicipalcourt.com/ or visit the court, located at 4610 Maher Avenue. before the amnesty program goes into effect to find out the total amount of fines due.
No one will be arrested if they voluntarily make an appearance in court and make a good faith effort to make arrangements on their pending cases.
