Wreaths Across America to be Hosted at City of Laredo Cemetery

LAREDO, Texas— The City of Laredo and Mayor Pro Tempore, Ruben Gutierrez, Jr., representing District 5, have partnered once again with Wreaths Across America to honor those who served and remember the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country. On Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM, Wreaths Across America will be at the City of Laredo Cemetery to remember and honor local veterans through the laying of remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and mention the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Each December, Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 3,400 locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad. All wreaths have been sponsored and will be ready for Laredo’s ceremony. However, volunteers are welcome to assist in the placement of the wreaths on each grave.
