City of Laredo and Laredo College Sign Agreement

Laredo, Texas —The City of Laredo and Laredo College entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) partnership on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the Laredo College Main Campus. Mayor Dr. Victor D. Treviño and Laredo College President, Dr. Minita Ramirez signed the MOU among many that were in attendance. This could not have been done without the collaboration between the City of Laredo Parks and Recreation Department and the Laredo College Sports Administration. This MOU will now allow the community to access the sports complexes located in both LC Main Campus and LC South Campus.
The community will now have access to the tennis courts at both campuses, the softball field at the main campus, the baseball field at the south campus, and the swimming pool at main campus. The Parks and Recreation Department is already looking forward to using the facilities in upcoming tournaments that will bring people from out of town to the City.
This agreement will continue to the mission from the Parks and Recreation Department in providing different facilities to children and adults in Laredo to stay active.
