(Laredo, Texas)-Select LC students attend the state leadership conference Right before the start of the new semester, a group of LC students was chosen to attend the Project MALES Texas Male Student Leadership Summit in Austin.
They were selected as they showed strong leadership capabilities and have shown the urge to help others throughout their time at the college. The group of students included James Rojas, Diego Robles, Miguel Cabrera, Orlando Benavides, and Robert Alcorta. Both Alcorta and Cabrera said that the summit was a great experience that allowed them to dive deep into their own challenges and vulnerabilities without judgment.
