Suga Show Takes Overtime Win Against Dosis Cafe

(Laredo, Texas)-South Laredo’s Suga Show Basketball Team extends its winning streak to 5 and improves to 5-1 for the season in the City of Laredo’s “A Division” Basketball League with a hard-played match up against Dosis Cafe that initially had Suga Show on the loosing end of the scoreboard with 12 seconds left in regulation time.
Austin Estevis came in 8 minutes into the game and helped reset the defense tone that Suga Show was struggling with against a tough Dosis team that put up points quickly. His hustle pulled and kept Suga within striking distance.
Josue Casarez comes thru with a steal with seconds left where he is then fouled sending him to the line tying the game at 61 with seconds left in regulation sending game into overtime.
Suga Show regrouped in the 3-minute overtime pulling ahead 70-65 to earn its victory.
