Sheriff’s Office Investigators Seize Drugs, Firearm, Cash

Laredo, TX (Webb County) – On Thursday, June 8, 2023, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed a narcotics search warrant by the 4400 block of Marla Drive in South Laredo. Narcotics Investigators discovered 12 grams of cocaine, 14.7 grams of heroin, 3.685 ounces of marijuana, and a Black Taurus handgun.
Investigators arrested Roberto Carlos Sotelo, 41, who was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Felony 2, Possession of Marijuana Class A, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon Felony 3. Investigators also recovered $371.
Subject Sotelo was transported to the Webb County Jail, where he was held without bond and pending magistration.
