[McAllen, Texas] – The McAllen Convention Center and Quiet Mind Yoga are delighted to announce their collaboration in celebrating International Yoga Day with a series of yoga events. With the aim of promoting physical and mental well-being, this will take place at the McAllen Performing Arts Center-Lawn on June 21st.
As the world comes together to acknowledge the power of yoga, Quiet Mind Yoga has curated a schedule of events to provide a memorable and transformative experience for yoga enthusiasts of all levels. Participants will have the opportunity to embrace the serenity of the sunrise and sunset through two sessions: Sunrise Yoga at 6:00 AM and Sunset Yoga at 7:30 PM.
Additionally, a special meditation and breathworks class will be held at 6:30 PM. All events are open to individuals of all skill levels, ranging from beginners to seasoned practitioners.
In addition to the empowering yoga sessions, Quiet Mind Yoga has curated a selection of health and wellness vendors who will be present at the event. These vendors offer a variety of products and services designed to promote holistic well-being, providing attendees with the opportunity to explore and enhance their overall health during the International Yoga Day celebrations.
In line with their shared commitment to community welfare, McAllen Convention Center and Quiet Mind Yoga have decided to make these events donation based. All proceeds collected during the International Yoga Day celebrations will be donated to Hope Family Health Center, a safety-net non-profit clinic that provides integrated medical and counseling services to indigent and uninsured individuals in the Rio Grande Valley. HOPE does not accept insurance or charge for its services, but rather, relies on the generosity of our community to support our mission. By contributing to this cause, attendees will not only enhance their own well-being but also support an initiative that promotes mental health awareness, self-sufficiency, and provides valuable resources to those in need.
