Webb County Memorial Day Holiday Closure

(Laredo, Texas)-Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. Memorial Day, formerly known as Decoration Day, was first enacted to honor troops who died in the Civil War. It was extended after World War I to honor all deceased Veterans.
In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, all Webb County administrative offices will be closed Monday, May 29, 2023.
The Webb County Sheriff’s administrative offices will also be closed but all other services will continue on their regular schedule.
Webb County Offices will re-open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
The next Webb County Commissioners court meeting will be on Monday, June 12 at 9:00 a.m. in Webb County Courthouse located at 1000 Houston Street.
The Webb County Commissioners Court wishes all Webb County residents a safe and enjoyable holiday.
