McAllen Public Utility Waterline Installation to Cause Street Closure

(McAllen, Texas)-As the McAllen Public Utility continues to move forward with water service improvements, a waterline installation project along Hackberry Ave. will cause closures along the road.
The McAllen Public Utility Engineering Department will close Hackberry Ave. from 17th St. to Bicentennial Blvd. and from Bicentennial Blvd. to N 20th St., starting on Monday, May 8 through Sunday, May 14, 2023 until 5:00 p.m.
Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution and patience when traveling along in the area and follow all posted detours. Motorists should expect some delays and congestion.
