Local Business Owners Raised Fund and Presented Donation to the Laredo Autism Coalition

LAREDO, TX— On Monday, May 15, 2023, the City of Laredo Council received a donation of $1000 for the Laredo Autism Coalition from David and Samantha Garza. Mr. and Mrs. Garza are the owners of Print X press and Saludos Brewery. During the month of April, for Autism Month, these local business owners had the initiative to raise funds to benefit the Autism Coalition and the programs or plans in place.
The motivation behind this gesture came from realizing that this type of programs will allow the City to become more inclusive for children and adults in the autism spectrum. From personal experience, Mr. and Mrs. Garza know that their small contribution will help the City of Laredo to continue with their vision.
“Thank you David and Samantha Garza for your support of the Autism Coalition. Also, our gratitude to the community for supporting this fundraiser. We encourage other small businesses to do the same. Laredo is quickly becoming the gold standard for inclusion, acceptance, and understanding”, said Mayor Pro Tempore, Vanessa Perez.
