Sheriff’s Office Seizes $15,990 worth of Black Tar Heroin

Laredo, TX (Webb County) – On March 16, 2023, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted an operation on the 1300 block of South Meadow Avenue. This resulted from a long-term investigation that revealed that a storage unit was utilized to store narcotics.

Investigators seized a black sticky substance that tested positive for Black Tar Heroin. The heroin weighed 10.66 ounces and has a street-level value of $15,990. The investigation continues.
