(Laredo, Texas)-Laredo College alum recognized as 2023 Coca-Cola Bronze ScholarIt is Laredo College’s utmost honor to recognize and congratulate Phi Theta Kappa Theta-ThetaChapter Vice President of Leadership Jeffrey Louis Gutierrez Jr. for being named the 2023Coca-Cola Bronze Scholar.
The recognition brings forth a $1,000 scholarship that will surely help in the process of taking their education to the next level.“I think it’s really nice to be recognized for the work I’ve done through Phi Theta Kappa and through Laredo College,” they said. “Any sort of recognition, even if it’s not monetary, it’s just really nice to know that my work is appreciated. ”As the first of their family to go to college, Gutierrez said that the goal of reaching the university of their choice and graduating is paramount to future plans.
