City of Laredo New Year’s Day Holiday Closure Notice

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo announces the closure of all administrative offices in observance of the New Year’s Holiday on Friday, December 30, 2022 and Monday, January 2, 2023. All services will resume to normal operation hours on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Various operations and services will continue to be offered, as indicated below:
Garbage & Recycling Collection
Friday, December 30, and Monday, January 2, there will be regular pick-up schedule.
There will be no lawn clipping or branch collection on either day.
Landfill
OPEN on Friday, December 30, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
Closed Saturday, December 31, 2022.
El Metro Transit
Fixed Route – Regular Schedule on Saturday, December 31, 2022, and closed on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Will resume regular service on Monday, January 2, 2023.
El Lift – Regular Schedule Saturday, December 31 and closed on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Will resume regular service on Monday, January 2, 2023.
Administrative Office & Customer Service – Closed
The administrative office and customer service will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

3-1-1 Call Center
Center will be open on Saturday, December 31, 2022, regular hours from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and closed Sunday, January 1, 2023.
