Washington, DC—U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) released the following statement in response to Speaker Nancy Pelosi stepping down as Speaker of the House of Representatives:
“Speaker Pelosi has worked with the House, the Senate, and three presidents on major legislation, from health care to clean energy, but her focus has always been on improving the lives of our children,” said Congressman Cuellar. “ I appreciate her leadership, strength, and friendship.”
