Sheriff’s Office Arrests Man on Burglary Charges and for Outstanding Warrants

(Laredo, Texas)-The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division executed an arrest warrant on Jose Torres, 28, who was wanted for burglary charges in Rio Bravo on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at around 12:26 AM.
Torres was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief, Burglary of Habitation, two counts of Theft of Firearms, Evading on Foot, and Resisting Arrest.
Additionally, Torres was also arrested on four warrants including, burglary of a building with a $20,000 bond, theft of property with a $3,000 bond, theft of Property with a $5,000 bond, and criminal trespass with a $5,000 bond.
Torres was sent to the Webb County Jail and is pending magistration.
