United ISD Joins Workforce Solutions for Hiring Event

(Laredo, Texas)-United ISD joined Workforce Solutions to hold a hiring event. The district’s Custodial, Transportation, Maintenance/Facilities, and Child Nutrition departments were all on hand to discuss the application process with attendees. Additionally, the Human Resources (HR) department attended to discuss all other employment opportunities with the district.
Auxiliary positions currently available include custodians, kitchen staff, warehouse personnel, groundskeepers, bus drivers and monitors, maintenance personnel, and security officers. The district is also seeking applications for teachers, paraprofessionals, and professional positions.
United ISD continues to accept applications for various positions throughout the district. To apply for positions, visit www.unitedisd.net, or for assistance with the application process, please stop by the Human Resources office at 201 Lindenwood Drive.
David Canales, Associate Superintendent for Human Resources, would like to encourage the community to fill out an application if they are currently seeking employment. He further stresses the importance of filling out the application entirely for it to process correctly. A significant issue with incomplete applications is that the reference names do not match the reference letters submitted with the applications, or the letters are often left out entirely.
