Sheriff’s Office Execution of Warrants Lands Two Local Men in Jail

Laredo, Texas (Webb County) – On Friday, August 26, 2022, at approximately 7:30 am, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and the Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) Team executed a search warrant and four felony warrants on the 9300 block of Highway 359.
During the operation, two men identified as Heriberto Madrigal, 37, and Humberto Madrigal, 37, were apprehended and served with one count each of aggravated robbery felony 1 and one count each of engaging in organized criminal activity felony 1.
During the execution of the search warrant, two rifles and several live rounds of ammunition were recovered on the scene. Both men were transported to the Webb County Jail pending magistration.
“I applaud the efforts of our investigators for bringing these two men to justice. We have learned that both men were terrorizing the area’s residents by using methods of intimidation,” said Sheriff Martin Cuellar. “I also ask the community to please report anyone who may be committing a crime by calling our Hotline at 956-415-BUST (2878).
