Laredo Federal Credit Union Hosts Drive-Thru Scholarship Ceremony

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, the Laredo Federal Credit Union (LFCU), awarded $500.00 scholarships to several local high school graduates.
Ten United ISD students were among the 22 recipients at the drive-thru award ceremony hosted at LFCU’s McPherson Road location. President/C.E.O Rafael Martinez and several co-workers coordinated the event.
“Laredo Federal Credit Union believes in higher education because it helps create a stronger workforce, and boosts the number of first-generation college graduates in our community,” said Martinez.
The United ISD Board of Trustees and Superintendent David H.Gonzalez thank the Laredo Federal Credit Union for supporting students every year.
