United ISD Celebrates “National School Nurse Day”

(Laredo, Texas)-United ISD Board Members Javier Montemayor, Jr. and Aliza Flores Oliveros – along with Trautmann and Garcia, Attorneys at Law, and PNC Bank sponsored a National School Nurse Day celebration at the SAC.
Nurses from throughout the district were all smiles as they dropped by for a complimentary lunch and goody bag. United ISD’s school nurses play a vital role in keeping our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn. As critical members of school support teams, school nurses also reduce barriers to learning by supporting the well-being of students throughout our schools.
“These past two years have been especially challenging, but our nurses have never waivered from their dedication to student health and success. This event is our way of thanking them for the amazing job they do” said United ISD Director of Health Services Irene Rosales MSN, RN.
