United ISD Theatrical Design Students Progress to State Level Competition

(Laredo, Texas)-Congratulations to Alexander High School (A.H.S.), Theatrical Design students David Elizondo and Kensey Shaw, whose design concepts for the production of “Murder On The Orient Express “have advanced them to the State-Level University Interscholastic League (UIL), competition for the third year in a row.
The state meet will take place in Austin, Texas on May 3 & 4, 2022 – Elizondo will compete in the Individual Costume Design competition and Shaw will compete in the Individual Set Design Competition. In addition, two United High School (UHS), students were designated as UIL State Theatrical Design Qualifiers; Jacob Cardenas for Costume Design and Paola Ortega for Marketing.
