AHS One Act Play Students Advance to Bi-District Competition

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, students from Alexander’s High School’s One Act Play program advanced from District Level Competition for their performance of a scene from “Leading Ladies” by Ken Ludwig. The competition was held in Laredo on March 4, 2022 at the Bill Johnson Student Activities Auditorium.
The next step for the talented troupe is to compete in the Bi-District Level Competition at the same location on March 22, 2022. The UIL One-Act Play Contest is a competition where similarly sized Texas schools present 18-40 minute plays, which are adjudicated by a panel of three judges or a single judge for further advancement to Bi-District, Region, and State competition.
