United H.S. 9th Grade Students Exemplify Kindness at their Campus

(Laredo, Texas)- The United High School 9th Campus participated in Random Acts of Kindness Week. Teachers and staff devoted time to encourage students to demonstrate kindness towards others. The freshmen students followed through by helping classmates with their assignments, befriending peers, giving flowers to special needs students, holding doors open for their teachers and performing other acts of kindness.
In turn, they were acknowledged for their actions, and rewarded with “Longhorn Bucks” to redeem at the Longhorn PBIS store. Random Acts of Kindness Week encourages all people to create harmony and happiness for others by way of thoughtful gestures of kindness.
