Webb County Sheriff’s Office investigating death of Converse, Texas, man

Laredo, Texas – The Webb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 30-year-old man from Converse who succumbed to injuries sustained while repairing a tractor-trailer tire Friday along Mines Road.
The accident occurred shortly before 10 a.m. at the Palafox Ranch located on Chapote-Mesas Road in western Webb County.
Two men, along with a Webb County Sheriff’s Office deputy, who had arrived on scene, performed CPR on the victim until paramedics arrived.
The Medical Examiner’s Office investigator pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The investigation continues.
